About this event

BALLS is the premier Experimental Rocket Launch in the continental United States, held annually in the Black Rock Desert north of Reno, near Gerlach, Nevada.

This event is focused on serious research and experimental rocketry.

Registration is required for everyone attending, whether flyer or spectator. On-site registration is available at $150 for flyers and $50 for spectators.

BALLS is a research-focused event and is not intended as a family event, attendance by children is discouraged. Please read all of the rules before registering.
